Following the completion of site works at 1 Leadenhall Street, Integral Cradles, one of the UK’s leaders in the façade access industry, has won an order to supply a range of façade access equipment solutions for the new Vista development on London’s South Bank.
The former ITV Television Centre is being transformed into a mixed-use development combining offices, cultural spaces and public areas, developed by Mitsubishi Estate London Limited with CO-RE and built by main contractor Multiplex Construction Europe Ltd.
Known as Vista at 72 Upper Ground, the 640,000 sq ft redevelopment of the former ITV Studios site is one of the biggest new-build projects to get underway in the capital this year, and is due to open its doors as an office and cultural centre in 2029.
Designed by Make Architects, the commercially led scheme will deliver a 25-storey office tower connected to two smaller buildings of 14 and 6 storeys on a substantial podium building, alongside a large roof garden. The design also features external terraces and balconies overlooking the Thames, together with a new public rooftop restaurant and terrace, transforming around 40% of the site into public space.
The buildings will be all-electric, targeting net-zero carbon in operation, alongside BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and WELL Platinum certifications.
Under the contract, Integral Cradles will deliver six systems, including two static BMUs with 41m and 44m reach respectively, complete with a variable capacity auxiliary winch ranging from 450kg to 1,000kg. Also included are a trackless BMU with a 3.5m reach and 350kg auxiliary winch, and a 42m monorail system with a powered cradle. In addition, the company will provide 27 lifting points and 12 floor anchor points across the development.
Integral Cradles signed the contract with Multiplex in the first quarter of 2026, with installation scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2028.

The Vista development further strengthens Integral Cradles’ relationship with Multiplex, adding to a project portfolio that spans some of London’s most prestigious new-build and refurbishment schemes.
