Integral Cradles is strengthening its partnership with key client Mace, having been awarded four further projects over the past six months: 85 Gracechurch Street, 65 Gresham Street, Paddington Over Station Development and Red Lion Court.
Across the four schemes, Integral Cradles will deliver three BMUs, two lift tables, eight monorails, 48 safety lines, 64 anchor points and one bespoke aluminium scaffold tower.
85 Gracechurch Street
85 Gracechurch Street is a 32-storey mixed-use tower set to transform the heart of the City of London. Located within the Leadenhall Conservation Area, adjacent to the Grade II listed Leadenhall Market, the scheme is designed by Woods Bagot and will replace a 1930s office building with approximately 235,000 sq ft of office space, end of trip facilities and event space with a 270-degree terrace. The all-electric development is targeting a BREEAM Outstanding rating, placing it among the most sustainable buildings in the capital.
Integral Cradles will install a 35m reach rising mast BMU traversing on a 7.5m twin track, alongside four abseil monorails and four safety lines with three anchor points.
65 Gresham Street
65 Gresham Street is one of the largest building reuse projects in the City of London, delivering over 36,800m² of Grade A office, retail and ancillary space. Taking a reuse-first approach, the project will retain more than 70% of the existing structure, with 95% of materials recycled or reused on-site, targeting a 66% reduction in whole-life carbon. Fossil fuel free during construction and operation, the redevelopment will add four new lightweight floors to the existing eight-storey structure.
Integral Cradles will provide four abseil davits mounted on 33 abseil davit sockets, three abseil monorails, a bespoke aluminium scaffold tower with restraint sockets, and 61 fixed restraint points with lanyard.
Paddington Over Station Development and Red Lion Court
Integral Cradles has also been appointed on the Paddington Over Station Development, a 19-storey office building above the canal side entrance to Paddington Station, designed by Grimshaw and due for completion in autumn 2028, and Red Lion Court, a landmark riverside office development on London’s South Bank designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, with practical completion targeted for early 2029.
