Working for client Canary Wharf, Integral Cradles has completed work at the Quay Club in Canary Wharf. Its engineers provided a bespoke BMU on a wall-mounted track system. The system oversails the water at Canary Wharf and as such, design and means of safe rescue at all times was key.
The Quay Club is the name given to Canary Wharf’s first private members club — which was due to open in early 2021.
It occupies just under 60,000 square feet, and sits among the towering Canary Wharf skyline in Middle Dock.
The 5-storey building is planned to have restaurants and bars, alongside a wealth of amenities including a boutique gym, spa and an expansive roof terrace.
There will also be a selection of rooms — all which come with 24-hour butler service — for guests that wish to stay the night.
GIND UK carried out the maintenance works during the construction phase of the project and has now secured the order to undertake the fully comprehensive, warrantied maintenance and servicing of this Canary Wharf development in a prime location.
This project is another example of BIM design and innovation from Integral Cradles and ongoing technical maintenance experience from GIND UK bringing benefits to the build process and the client.
