Integral Cradles delivers new BMU installation at Wood Wharf Blocks J1 and J3

Integral Cradles has successfully completed the installation of a Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) at Wood Wharf Blocks J1 and J3 on behalf of our client Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd (CWCL).

The installation included new Roof Level Abseiling Davits at Block J1 and, and a new Roof Level BMU at J3. The project team will return to the site to complete the works once other trades works have progressed.

Adding to the existing vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood in Canary Wharf, Wood Wharf J1 and J3 consists of two residential towers, standing at 49 and 34 storeys respectively. These towers feature a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom flats, along with ancillary and retail spaces. The scheme is situated by the waterfront, along the north bank of South Quay, enhancing the area’s appeal.

Discussing the installation, Kevin Walton, founder and managing director of Integral Cradles, commented:

“We’re delighted to have installed this access system at Wood Wharf Blocks J1 and J3, which was another great collaboration with our client CWCL. We look forward to returning to the site to complete the final installations, to ensure the highest standards of safety and functionality for the building’s maintenance.”
