48 Leicester Square BMU Install

The Building Maintenance Unit for 48 Leicester Square is due to be lifted on the building throughout this month. Following extensive off site ‘type’ testing, the equipment will be installed on the installed track system on schedule to achieve the delivery targets of our end client, Brookfield Multiplex.

Ulster Hospital T&C starts

The final testing and commissioning of Ulster Hospital for BAM Graham joint venture has commenced prior to ultimate final handover of the hospital. The Integral Cradles Ltd team travel weekly to Belfast to continue to support this project as a key partner to Graham and BAM, with the joint handover target on schedule to be achieved. Negotiations for the next phase of this prestigious project are also in the final stages.

Providence Tower completion

The testing and commissioning and client handover for beneficial use at Providence Tower has been completed. These works are the first of hopefully many with the main contractor Balfour Beatty, and we wish to take this opportunity to thank the project team for their support which allowed us to delivery another technically demanding project on time and to achieve and surpass the expectation of our client.

Contract win – 66 Chiltern Street for MACE

Integral Cradles have been appointed by Mace to provide the access equipment and Building Maintenance Unit on the highly prestigious 15-storey residential development 66 Chiltern Street in Marylebone Village, central London. The building is due for completion in 2017 and is a further project with the developer Heron, following the previous success of Heron Tower. Integral Cradles continues to work with Mace as a key supply partner, following the recent partnership on the City University project.

Integral Cradles Ltd acquired by PTSG plc

Integral Cradles Ltd has been acquired by specialist key services provider Premier Technical Services Group Plc (PTSG). PTSG’s existing install division will be combined with Integral Cradles to operate as one trading entity, led by Managing Director Kevin Walton. Kevin Walton commented “this is an exciting opportunity for both our team and our existing and future clients, as it allows a proven market leading specialist to provide genuine national coverage with the support of the PTSG Group.”

Staff Increase:

Three additional project management staff join our London office to support our increased portfolio of projects to be delivered within the City. With degree level skill sets that include Electrical, Architectural as well as Mechanical and Structural elements, we are sure that these permanent staff will blend into and enhance our existing technical team.

95 Wigmore Street Ongoing Maintenance Support

We are pleased to confirm the ongoing maintenance support provided from Integral Cradles to the 95 Wigmore Street project, with a new long term order with United Facilities Management Ltd. We look forward to continuing to support our manufactured and installed product going forward.

Following appointment at the end of 2014 for the replace of the existing BMU’s on the HSBC HQ in Canary Wharf, Integral Cradles Ltd have completed the works without the use of a crane! The old systems were removed and environmentally disposed of, while the new machines were cleverly designed to fit within the goods lift and to be transferred through the building during the night to avoid any disruption to this live fully occupied building. Working with the other members of the HSBC team (Overbury, MACE, WSP and JLL) the project has been delivered in a timeous, safe and environmentally conscious manner to the satisfaction of the key client, HSBC.

Following a call from Brookfield Multiplex to assist them with a complex technical solution, Integral Cradles were able to assist and as a result secured this significant order within 10 days from the initial call. Working with our long term friends at Brookfield Multiplex, we are providing five separate access systems including telescopic long reach BMU’s, tracks, soffit monorails, material lifting points and power cradles on what will be the Schroders London HQ. London Wall Place is a 500,000 sq ft scheme designed by MAKE, delivering two landmark office buildings and extensive, landscaped public realm. The regeneration of this section of London Wall will bring renewed vibrancy to one of London’s most important districts and Integral Cradles Ltd’s technical access solutions will help to maintain the look of this prominent development.

Another major project success for 2015!

What is becoming a big winning start to the year, Integral Cradles Ltd have secured the complex access systems for One Blackfriars Tower. The three BMU’s will integrate with the moving doors, carry the roof cladding and will continue our ongoing relationship with Brookfield Multiplex and their cladding supplier, Yuanda who we have work with as a partner of several other projects. Another complex access solution on an iconic London tower to be provided by Integral Cradles!
