Integral Cradles has been appointed by McAleer & Rushe to deliver façade access equipment for two developments on the Greenwich Peninsula, M0121 and Greenwich Peninsula Quays (Plots 1.02 and 1.03), marking the start of a new partnership between the two companies.
The projects are being delivered for Knight Dragon, with architects Chapman Taylor and Cowen and Partners working in partnership with McAleer & Rushe as main contractor.
Located within the Lower Riverside neighbourhood at Greenwich Peninsula, the developments form part of one of London’s most ambitious and transformative regeneration areas. The site forms part of Knight Dragon’s long-term masterplan to create a vibrant, mixed-use urban district, delivering new homes, public spaces, cultural destinations and community infrastructure. Greenwich Peninsula benefits from excellent connectivity, with strong public transport links to central London and beyond, alongside an established and expanding public realm network along the waterfront.
The M0121 development will deliver a range of high-quality new homes supported by communal internal and external amenity spaces, including landscaped courtyards and enhanced areas of public realm. The design responds to the scale, character and design aspirations of the wider masterplan, contributing to the ongoing regeneration of the peninsula.
Across the two developments, Integral Cradles will deliver three BMUs with 31.25m, 31.25m and 21.5m reach respectively, alongside 88 abseil davit sockets fitted with 5 abseil davits, and 4 safety lines.
Installation is scheduled to commence in 2027.
