Building details:

25 Canada Square, also known as the Citi Tower, is among the largest workplace refurbishment projects in Europe. The tower is a 45-storey office building overlooking Canada Square.

The refurbishment of Citi Tower is a major milestone in the redevelopment of Canary Wharf. By choosing to refurbish rather than demolish the existing structure, Citi is expected to save an estimated 100,000 tonnes of embodied carbon. This move supports the company’s commitment to sustainability and creating a more environmentally friendly workplace.

Equipment supplied:

Integral Cradles has been appointed to install a new long-reach single jib lifting crane for the refurbishment of Citi Tower in Canary Wharf. The crane will be installed on the existing BMU track system at level 44 of the 42-story building.

The new long-reach single jib lifting crane will play a crucial role in the refurbishment process, providing efficient and safe access to various areas of the building. Integral Cradles’ expertise in access solutions will ensure that the project is completed on time and to the highest standards.

Next step:

Site installation.
