Sugar Quay

Sugar Quay is a development of luxury apartments located on the North banks of the Thames, between Custom House and the Tower of London and offers spectacular far reaching views towards the City of London.

Integral Cradles installed abseil anchors with davits, cradle/hoist anchors with davits and a new powered cradle and safety fall prevention rail to the building’s façade. The work was carried out for our client BDW Trading, on behalf of the main contractor Barrat London.

The key challenge for the project was the integration of access systems with regular statutory testing and to ensure that the public spaces were always unaffected and useable. This was achieved to the satisfaction of all parties through intricate design and collaboration.
