Integral Cradles has continued to make progress at its project at One Leadenhall, with the installation of two new building maintenance units and lift tables in June 2024, on behalf of the project’s client Multiplex.
Following the completion of a series of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) within its testing facility at GIND sau in Madrid, the Integral Cradles project team has now installed two new significantly large and complex building maintenance units and lift tables to the roof of One Leadenhall, ensuring the building’s façade can be safely accessed for future maintenance works.
The installation took place on the building’s upper roof, with works safely completed by the team while overlooking stunning views of the City of London.
The soon-to-be-completed One Leadenhall building is a 36-storey, 165.2-metre skyscraper to be built adjacent to Leadenhall Market in London. The flagship development will replace the existing building located at 1 Leadenhall Street, known as Leadenhall Court, and is expected to be completed later this year.
Discussing the latest works at the development, Integral Cradles Managing Director Kevin Walton said:
“We’re thrilled to have successfully completed the installation of these new BMUs and lift tables at One Leadenhall, ensuring safe access to the development’s façade. On completion of this project, we’ll then handover to our maintenance partner GIND UK which will continue to work with Multiplex to support the equipment’s maintenance needs, as part of our partnership’s whole lifecycle solution to building access projects.”
